Due to the low salaries they receive, they are only able to eat very affordable food, which tends to lack nutrition. Several elderly people suffers from malnutrition in Singapore, and the amount of them is steadily increasing.<br /><br />Therefore I think that the government should educate the elderly people about the importance of nutrition. If no action is taken quickly, the number of elderly in people will significantly decrease.
