One problem that the government faces is the rising amount of the elderly in Singapore.

Firstly, the elderly has little knowledge of nutrition. Due to the low salaries they receive, they are only able to eat very affordable food, which tends to lack nutrition. Several elderly people suffers from malnutrition in Singapore, and the amount of them is steadily increasing.

Therefore I think that the government should educate the elderly people about the importance of nutrition. If no action is taken quickly, the number of elderly in people will significantly decrease. This will cause a loss in the knowledge that they can pass on to the younger generation.
